I
have been involved with the arts since I first gripped a crayon
in my native Massachusetts. After momentary stints as a rock
musician, modern dancer and a professional photographer, I
have primarily concentrated on creating and exhibiting my
visual art and writing and performing my poems and short stories.
WRITING
I've
read at the Poetry Project at St. Mark's in New York City,
was featured at The Woodstock Poetry Festival as well as other
venues throughout the Hudson Valley. My writing has appeared
in numerous publications including, Triangle Shirtwaist
Fire, Chronogram, Dyed-in-the-Wool,
Wildflowers, and the Half Moon Review and
will soon appear in Prima Materia Writings.
VISUAL ART
In New York City I showed my fine art prints and mixed media
while working as a professional photographer and graphic artist.
After fifteen years of commecial photography and graphic design
I have found my way back to more traditional methods of fine
art in my personal work. Since arriving Upstate I have developed
my printmaking skills and continue in my mixed media artwork,
using my own photographs as source material. Currently I am
showing at The Living Room in Historic Uptown
Kingston and have participated in numerous group shows at
various galleries including The Woodstock Artist's
Association, Fotoquest Gallery and
an upcoming show at The Cross Street Gallery.
